Vaccinations for Travel

This week’s main Health Politics video debunks some myths about childhood vaccinations. But what about adults? Here at Health Politics, we get many, many emails asking which shots adults need, particularly before international travel. But the answer isn’t the same for everyone. It’s important that you talk with your health care professional months in advance of a trip to determine which, if any, immunization shots are needed. Certain factors, such as your age and health, where you’re going, and the length of your stay, affect your risk of disease and need for immunization.
